For De Facto Relationship Permission, some non-visa required nationals will require pre-clearance prior to entry. This is based on the purpose of the travel to Ireland, rather than the nationality of the individual. Preclearance does not apply to visa-required nationals, they simply apply for the appropriate visa instead.
Preclearance is a relatively new introduction to Irish immigration, and it currently only applies to only five types of applications, and De Facto relationship is one of them. De Facto relationship application is one of the most complex visa applications. With years of experience, our success rate in De Facto Relationship applications is very high.
